Shell win Oil Industry Games Shell won a total number of 12 gold 6silver and 8 bronze medals to place first and beat NNPC the second position with 7gold 9silver and 7bronze medals. The third position went to ExxonMobil with 7gold 1silver and 8bronze medals.NAOC came fourth with 5gold 5silver and 7bronze, NLNG was fifth 3,3,4 medals. Elf came sixty with 2,4,4, PTI seveth 1,2,4, Total came eight with 1,1,2 while Slumberger finishe last with -,2,2 medals. Speaking on the victory Shell's General Manager Human Resourses, Mr. Osagie Okunbor, told our correspondent that the victory was a result of their level of preparation. He said the management of Shell was very proud of the feat as it hope to provide all necessary support to ensure the team clinch it again in 2008. "We know others will want to beat us to it but I can beat my chest that we have the players that can do it again at the next edition," he boasted. Shell apart from topping the overall medals' table also won the glamorous soccer event by beating NNPC in the final 2-1. Top dignatries from the various Oil companies including the Director of Sports in the Ministry of Sports and Social Development were at the closing ceremony. 0
