Siasia's 'Passwords' for Eagles victory

Super Eagles assistant coach, Samson Siasia has needled-out some of the basic ingredients he feels, could form the 'passwords' for result-oriented outings for the national teams - in such international championships of the Nations Cup magnitude.

Siasia, who like most Nigerians, was unhappy over the nation's inability to nick a GERMANY 2006 World Cup ticket, told nigeriasports.coms that, some of the ways forward for such milestones to be reached, included; early camping, morale boost and respect for the players.

"There are no other ways than early invitations being extended to players, information about the team's programmes and educating them on the need to adhere strictly to the laid-down rules and regualtions in terms of arrival dates and stuffs like that," the handler of the Nigerian globe-stunning Under-20 team at last year's FIFA Youth World Cup Finals in Holland, counted on his fingers.

On teams' confidence building, the WYC silver medal 'lining' coach disclosed that, players should be told in clear terms that, “whatever they needed to excel in a competition, is at their disposal. Let them go ahead and play their game, no matter what happens there, the coaches are solidly behind them”

“You know these guys, they do their trade in Europe and money is not their problem. Theirs’ is how well those concerned treat them,” he emphasized, adding that whenever they, the players, heed to a national call, the authorities just have to treat them well by respecting them and watch them perform better."

...advocates football revolution

"Nigerians should learn to take the bull by the horn, instead of sitting on the fence at all times, when things have to be done.  There must be something like a revolution if, things have to be done the right way. Nigerians should learn to tell the truth, when things go wrong and not "Yes Sir" all the time.

The Bayelsa-born coach was not done - he continued: "Those fans, who really love the game should be able to face the authorities and tell them that, what they are doing, is not right.  They should not chicken-out in times of crisis.  Football should not," he pointed out, "be left in the hands of the FA and the Sports Ministry alone to handle." He argued that, "we did not make it to the World Cup Finals, not only because the team lost, but because we left somethings to be done, undone," Siasia submitted on a final note.

i still insist that siasia is trying but we still need a whiteman so that the so called NFA will be able to obey him because they can never obey siasia as a chief coach.
