I’m through with Berger- Amao

Fatai Amao
Former Chief Coach of Julius Berger of abeokuta, Fatai Amao has revealed to nigeriasports.com that he has seen his final days at the Bridge boys.

Amao described the Management of Berger as unserious and having no ambitions of returning to the continent, hence his decision to leave.

“We lost almost eighteen players at the end of the 2004 season but the management did not provide funds to beef up our team with quality players and you can see how we performed in 2005 season.” Amao said.

“I want to coach an ambitious side, and unfortunately Berger cannot be said to be one of such sides.”

I think Amao took the right decision, I'm also a fan of the Bridge boys since my youth days especially when they maintain a camp at Ago-Hausa, in AJ Kingdom but I'm seriously searching for a more serious club to support in the local league

I think Berger fc lost its dynamism since the exit of Chief Daniel Idama the estwhile chairman of the EURO 65 outfit

The management should wake up to the realities on ground to move this team forward for the interest of the game and its teeming fans
