According to an official of OSMI, who has the rights of the global games show in Nigeria, the giant golden trophy, for which the best football-playing nations of the universe are expected to converge in Germany later this year, "is already on its way to the country." "As a matter of fact, the trophy will arrive the country tomorrow and it would be on the stand at the Ocean View Restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos. The trophy will be on display from 2.00pm to 5.00pm and only those who are duly accreditted by way of invitation, will be allowed or rather, have the privilege of seeing the Cup live in Lagos - whether Nigeria goes or not." 1
