Federal High Court clears former NFA scribe

Former Secretary of the Nigeria Football Association, Dr. Tijani Yusuf, who became one of the victims of Sports Ministry's power-play over some sums of money while in office at the football house, has been cleared by the Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria, nigeriasports.com can reveal.

 
Our sources hinted  that Yusuf,  a deputy director in the Sports Ministry, who was prosecuted by the Independent Currupt Practices Commission, ICPC inhaled the air of freedom following the lack of evidence to substantiate allegations levelled against him. According to our investigations, Dr. Yusuf "prey to the victimization gimmicks of a colleague, who wanted to step in as director of sports in the same ministry. 

"The man was just a victim of power tussle despite all the contributions he made to sports development. But I am happy that God has vindicated him," our source said. Yusuf during his travails was said to have lost one of his sons and survived through his friends who rallied round him.

The soft-spoken administrator nigeriasports.com learnt, that Yusuf will soon be reinstated and would collect all the bac-klog of his salaries and other entitlements according to the letter of clearance.  The Kaduna State indegine has distinguished himself on many fields particularly, at the National Institute For Sports which he transfomed into an enviable place while he served as director for over two years.
