Enyimba go for foreign Technical AdviserA Foreign Technical Adviser is to be appointed for the Enyimba Football Club of Aba. Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu said a construction company in Nigeria has offered to get a renowned coach for the team and also settle his salaries for one year. Kalu also announced that an estimated two hundred and thirty million Naira had been expended on the team and half of the funds were provided by him. He assured that within the next three years, the club will generate billions of Naira for Abia State. The Governor who disclosed that the club would be selling players to foreign clubs appealed to Enyimba players to avoid running to foreign club in order not be ripped off by agents. He said there will be a celebration of the trophy in on wednesday and the final one in January next year. Expresses his appreciation In a related development, Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed his appreciation to the Governors of Rivers and Bayelsa states for providing two aircrafts to convey supporters of Enyimba Football Club to Egypt for the final of the CAF Champions league. Governor Kalu also praised the Imo State Governor, Achike Udenwa for a gift of two million Naira to the club. The Governor commended his other colleagues who had showed support from time to time for the Enyimba Football Club of Aba. The Abia State Governor expressed his appreciation to Nigerians for their tremendous support especially journalists. He believes that if Nigerians work together to revolutionize football in the country the world cup would not elude Nigeria in 2010.
