Sharks' Omokaro ends season on sad note

Charles Omokaro, who ended the league with twelve goals, said at a stage in the season, Sharks looked good to grab the title but things went awry for the team.

 

“I must say the players did their best and cant really tell what happened when we lost our chance to win the FA cup and also the league, but in football it happens like that and we had to take it in good faith.”

 “Right now I’m looking at offers I have had from other clubs in the course of the season but am yet to make up my mind.”

“On a personal note, I did not do too well since I had a target of twenty goals I eventually got only twelve but I believe next season will be better for me as a striker.”
