Delta Queens win PA Inneh memorial

Delta Queens of Asaba thrashed home team, Inneh Queens of Benin in the Pa Inneh memorial cup played at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium Benin.

Delta Queens, fresh from their league title win completely overran their hosts in the match played in honour of the late founder of Inneh Queens football club.

Inneh Queen’s striker, Cynthia Uwak told www.nigeriasports.com that they lost the match because Delta Queen were more prepared having just participated in the Super Six.

"you know we did not qualify for the Super Six and with the challenge cup cancelled, we have not been training, but Delta just returned from the Super Six, which they won."
