SuperSport's Nedbank Challenge for golf lovers

In recognition of the fact that the Nedbank Golf Challenge celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, SuperSport, nigeriasports.com has been informed,will provide enthusiasts with 24 hours of television coverage during the event at Sun City from December 1 to 4.

This wall-to-wall broadcast will be divided between SuperSport 1 and SuperSport 6 and producer Andrew Skelton’s aim is to cover every key shot played by the 12-man field. According to Multi Choice Public Relations Officer, Mr. Segun Fayose,"in addition, there will be short inserts on classic moments from past Nedbank Challenges as well as interviews recorded prior to the event with each of the golfers."

The experienced commentary team comprises Warren Humphries, Ewen Murray, Dale Hayes, Gavin Levenson and Richard Boxall. "The welcoming banquet on Wednesday, November 30 2005, will be broadcast “live” on SS 1 from 8-9pm and the daily “live” coverage starts at 10.30am on SS 1 and CSN or M-Net (from December 1-4)," Fayose informed us in Lagos.

SuperGolf, on Thursday, December 1, and Super Saturday (December 3) and Super Sunday (December 4) will be broadcast “live” from Sun City.The SuperSport 6 package runs daily during the event from 5pm until 10.30am the following morning and includes highlights of that day’s play and an hour-long package on the last 25 years of the tournament.
