Grateful Andrew salutes Ondo sports chieftiains
Head coach of Sunshine Angels basketball club of Akure, Andrew Isokpehi is full of appreciation for the government of Dr. Olusegun Agagu, the state sports ministry and the Executive chairman of the State sports council, Elder Michael Adeyeye for the support accorded the Sunshine girls.
According to the former assistant coach of the senior national team, D’Tigers, whose wards have won all three games played so far in the second phase of the NBBF/Zenith Bank Women championship holding in Lagos that the supports from the Sunshine is the motivation behind the team success so far. He however, promised that the team founded barely a year ago will rise to be a household name in Nigeria in no distant future. “I want to say a very big and loud thank you to the sports council chairman, Elder Adeyeye, the sports ministry and the state government for their unflinching support they have given the girls so far and I can only promised them that soon than later this team will be transform into a household in female basketball in Nigeria,” stated the foirmer Ebun Comets basketball club head coach. 0
