FCT Queens Coach wants all trophies this season

FCT Queen's Coach Mohammed Hussein
After fourteen rounds of matches played in the Nigerian Women Professional League, Chief Coach of FCT Queens, Mohammed Hussien insists his side still has ambitions to go for all trophies this season as he tells nigeriasports.com.

At the start of the season, Hussien led his side to six matches unbeaten before succumbing 1-4 to Ebonyi Queens at the Abakiliki Township Stadium.

However, the former Assistant coach of Premier League side, Gombe United insists his clubs current fifth  position is no cause for alarm.

“The league title will find its home in Abuja this year,” Mohammed told nigeriasports.com.

“I hear the last time FCT one a title in the country was in 2000 when they won the FA Cup, but this year will be different because we will win both titles.”

The club also has two of the top scorers in the league in Kenny Winjobi and Victoria Iwueze who both have five goals.

Mohammed told WFS that he has set his eyes on every available title in the land and will not stop until he has grabbed all.

The Abuja based Queens started the league on a slow note, drawing in Kaduna against Kaduna Queens and Hussien believes the slow start had to do with his girls not responding to his training methods.

“Kaduna Queens should have fallen at home, but my girls threw away their lead and should have even buried them but missed lots of scoring chances. I believe they are adapting to my training methods so all clubs must watch out for us.”

True to it, former Rivers Angels defender, Charity Ifenkoh who was converted to the attack has been tormentor in Chief while former Delta Queens, Vicky Iwueze has had her fair share of goals.

Adanna Nwaneri also formerly of Delta Queens has been rock solid in defence so also has Betty Osayewe been confident between the sticks.
