Nigerian takes fist of 'Nightmare' to New York

Hell-bent on not just pricking fame on the surface, but ensuring that, his name and that of his country is globally known and accepted in the fistic business of the Noble Art of Self-Defence (boxing), Nigeria's undefeated and world acclaimed heavyweight contender, Samuel 'Nigerian Nightmare' Peter, flew into New York City, on August 10, 2005 to make real, his uncompromising drive to battle it out to the top.

In the Nigerian's company was former World Boxing Organization (WBO) heavyweight champion,WladmirKlitschko.  At the end of the match date-fixing visit, September 24,2005 was set aside for the title bout in Atlantic City, New Jersey in the US, informed IKE ENWEREUZOR, from the United States of America.

According to ENWEREUZOR, there are indications already, that many Nigerians from across the world are expected to travel to the US to watch Peter show not only his ''Nightmarish stuff in the ring, but also to prove to lovers and followers of boxing that, he belongs to the calibre of fighters, who should be ruling the world in the game."

nigeriasports.com was also informed that, there will be chartered buses that would leave from New York City to the fight venue in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 24, 2005; which is the 'D' Day of reckoning for the Nigerian pride fighter, who has continued to crush his opponents in his dire pursuit of a befitting place of pride in his chosen career.

It would be recalled that only a few months back, the Nigerian heaped his last opponent on the canvas in no distance in a challenge bout.  He has, from the file of his ring exploits in the US, continued unrepentantly to humiliate his opponents;  a drive that has given his professional ring name 'Nigerian Nightmare'  a seal of recognition and acceptance.
