D'Tigers set to feast on Ivory Coast

Nigeria will Monday begin its quest for the elusive Fiba Africa Championship title against zone three neighbour, Ivory Coast.

The coach Sam Vincent tutored side grouped in pool-A alongside host Algeria will announce its presence in Algiers with a loud noise

through a resounding victory over the Ivories who had earlier withdrew from the championship due to undisclosed reasons.

The Nigeria, Ivory Coast comes up at 4.30 pm local time and the second game in group-A.

The Tunji Awojobi captained side knows what is at stake if they must qualify for the quarter-finals which makes the team first group game a must win.

Other matches billed for Monday includes two other group-A games between Mali and Tunisia at 2.00 pm while host Algeria will take on Gabon at 9.00 pm.

In group-B defending champion, Angola will open the defence of it title against South Africa at 10.00 am, Morocco will have its hands full when it confront star-studded Senegal, the match comes up at 12.30 pm while group-B last game of the first day of proceeding will be between Mozambique and Central Africa at 2.00 pm.
