NBBF Challenge: The final onslaughts

With the conclusion of the conference playoffs in both the Savannah and Atlantic conference all eyes will now be on who wins the major challenge of the final-6 of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF Basketball Challenge which dunks off tomorrow at the indoor sports hall of the Abuja national stadium.

Six teams are already in the federal capital territory ready for the kill as the clock ticks away and the whistle men are set to signal the commencement of hostilities, coaches have strategized and re-strategize for the big occasion. Leading the challenge from the Savannah conference come Plateau Peaks basketball club of Jos, Pillars of Kano and Niger Potters of Minna these teams aside nursing the ambition to win the challenge are united in one thing and that is to turn the table against their Atlantic conference opponents who have dominated the local scene in the past fifteen years.

The big question begging for answer is whether the Savannah conference teams will be able to accomplish this task of wrestling the title from more hungry and determine Atlantic conference teams led by reigning premier league champion, Comets basketball club, joined by Nigeria Customs basketball club and star-studded Union Bank basketball club who are double charged for the task ahaed.
