Al-Alhy's coach reveals Enyimba's weaknesses

Even after the lone goal home defeat against Enyimba at the on-going CAF Champions League, the chief coach of AL AHLY of Egypt Manuel Jose has maintained that Enyimba would still qualify to the semi- final stageof the championship.

Jose told nigeriasports in Aba that, the Nigerian side would still make it to the semi -final of the tournament, if they would
put their acts together as an African champion, and as well fight with lion heart in the rest of their games. Enyimba is a strong and fantastic team.

"I respect them a lot because they have set a record with FIFA and CAF.  We managed to win them today because we mapped out a strategy, which we used against them and it worked for us,” he disclosed.  Jose confirmed that the problem with Enyimba was over-confidence and lack of strength in the second half.

“I think Enyimba played better than us, but we had only two chances and one was converted to a goal... it only showed that,we were in Nigeria  for business.  I think the problem with Enyimba is over confidence and lack of strength because I saw them play as if the game had already been won and that was our advantage against them.

"They don’t have strikers; their Ghanaian player wouldn’t help because, we knew him and as you could see, only one player was following him as instructed until he was changed,” the coach revealed again.

He therefore, tasked the technical crew to work seriously on the boy so as to shape-up their tactical and technical abilities; traits, which he submitted, would enhance their victory over Raja Casablanca in Morocco.

“I think the coach has a lot of work to do.   They are going play against Morocco, they are good as well, but I want Enyimba to qualify because, they are the strongest and most respected club in Africa.  If they lose out of the competition, the whole competition would not be exciting any longer  because many countries in Africa always like watching them in action,” he stated.

I will very much Mr Emordi and Okpala to follow these advice given by the portuguese coach. There is nothing wrong in learning from your opponent if you hope to be successful. The portuguese coach is an honest man if not he wont have told the reporters Enyimba's weakness in that match. Its now up to the coaches to correct this mistake and turn things around. Enyimba can still win the cup as long as they learn from there mistake.

Good football analysis from the victorious Al Ahly Coach Manuel Jose. Even the Holy book says that God resists the proud but gives grace to to the humble in my opinion I think the coach was right that part of what cost the people's elephant the much sorted victory in Aba was due to over confidence and mother luck. Because they really created enormous chances but were unable to convert any. Just as we all know that it is not over untill it's over. Its now up to the players, the technical crew to wake up because there's now a mightier call to duty.
As it stands now what the samba boys (Brazil) is to FIFA when it comes to world cup is what Enyimba is to CAF when it comes to CAF organised clubs competition so they cannot afford to qualify to the semi final. Then all Nigerians should pray for them 'cus its the country's flag they are carrying. Long live the peoples elephant! long live federal republic of Nigeria.

I do agree with the Al Ahly Coach on the weak areas he pointed out in the Enyimba team.Especially on the area of superb strikers. It could be recalled that i myself warned and adviced the Coaches b/4 the match to recruit sharp shooter strikers to avoid such embarrassment such caused us in the match against Ajax Cape Town.
I still hope that Coach Emordi,Dike and Okpala will not relent in carrying the heavy task placed on them especially on the area strikers.
Enyimba Foreverrrr!!!
