After the training, the player shared his experience in the global tourney which was hosted by Holland with nigeriasports.com He expressed joy over his return to his team mates after staying away for five weeks in Europe where he went to defend his fatherland in the Championship. Chinwo said that his experience in the WYC will put him in a stronger position to help his club in the CAF Competition. “I had a very good experience during the competition and it will help me to go a long way with my club in the CAF Competition,” he said.Exuding confidence the defender boasted that his game has improved and that opponents of Dolphins would have a bitter taste of his approach when they cross the path of the Port Harcourt based team. Without mincing words, the defender declared that the Nigerian team was robbed in the final against Argentina who were eventual winners with two penalty goals. He accused the referee of officiating in a manner that favoured the South Americans."Everybody saw it that we were robbed. The man was not fair at all.If we had lost without the referee robbing us, I would have been happy but I am not happy the way they robbed us. but I must say that iwas how God wanted it and also it is football". “I am so glad that we played to the final of the game because many Nigerians did not believe that we could go that far.But God was on our side and we had a very good coach Samson Siasia who was always a source of inspiration to usl all the time”, he said. Chinwo maintained that Dolphin will surprise their fans by qualifyingfor the finals of the on going CAF Championship.“I know that many of our fans must have written us off in the CAF competition but I must assure you that we will surprise them by topping our group as well as winning the cup by the grace of God,” he promised.
