Izugha in Disarray

Nigerian born Ejike Izugha of German side SV Wehen is facing the toughest time of his soccer career in Germany.

The player alongside three other members of the national U-23 are still living in the pains of the one year ban slammed on them by the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) over gross indiscipline.

SV Wehen officials got a rude shock when they read about their prized jewel being involved in a $4,000 fiasco with his national team and were further stunned when the NFA sent a fax to back up the report in ‘Kicker’ magazine.

" I was shocked and now am still in shock, I wonder why the entire scenario had to end up like that, cos now my club refuse to understand my side saying what they read in Kicker magazine was absolutely disgusting" he told this website via telephone from Germany.

" Kicker is the biggest sports magazine in Deutsland and that gave my club a bad image and they are really mad at me, with the fans asking me questions anytime they run into me"

With tears the player seek for pardon and urge the NFA to look into his case, if they wish to aid his dwindling soccer career.

" I cannot do anything except the FA come to my aid, I am so disillusioned and lost all because of the incident of the All Africa games in October"

Another sad episode on the 8th All Africa Game saga...How could the FA act in such a gruelsome manner? I pray these boys gets over this terrible times and get their lives back again. His own case is even worse than Emoefe's that I read on this same site.
