LSTTA plan N12M lock-up hall

In a bid to return the game of table tennis to its lost glory in Lagos State, the state association has concluded plans to build a lock-up hall at the Rowe Park Sports complex so as to give its athletes to follow their training schedule unhindered.

According to the association Wahid Enitan Oshodi says the idea behind the lock-up hall is to create a conducive atmosphere for its teeming athletes time to practice which the multi-purpose sports is not providing at the moment due to the many sports competing for the only available space within the sports complex.

The project which got the blessing of the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Opeyemi Bamidele who promised that the state government will do all it can to assist the association to achieve its set objective.

The commissioner, however, declines to name how much the state government plans to inject into the project, which is estimated to gulp N12.M.

The project according to Oshodi will be completed between 9 and 12 months.
