Obinna on trial at Yeovil

Little known Nigerian Eric Obinna is on trial with English League one side Yeovil Town as Club chief, Gary Johnson spread his net to Germany in a bid to add fresh talent to his squad.

The Former Kaiserslautern striker joined the League One new boys on trial as they continue their pre-season tour of Holland. 23-year-old Obinna, is looking to earn a permanent move to Huish Park.

The Owerri-Imo state born Obinna started his pro career in Brazil with FC Victoria, then moved to Europe where he teamed up with Arsenal of England but could not break in to the first team, from there he left for France where he played for Etienne, he journeyed to Germany joining Stuttgart Kickers.

He later left Kickers for Kaiserslautern and later lower division side RC Rouen and from Rouen he is on trial at Yeovil.
