Since I joined them in April, I have not been paid a single Naira. We looked- away from this handicap and continued to do our best. As I am talking with you now, we are occupying the second position of the league table. “We were first until last week when I decided to call it quits with the team. I have a family to cater for and I won’t be able to do that if I keep hoping for a better day to come; which has not come since April. “Perhaps they think they can make it without me. Some of the coaches of the State were brought in to under-study me while I was there; but they forget that experience is not easy to acquire…I wish them the very best of lucks,” a deflated coach Obeta lamented. 2
