Enyimba shops for Dolphins’ goal tender Brown

MID-SEASON LEAGUE TRANSFER WINDOW: Nigerian Globacom Premier League teams are taking a good opportunity of the Mid-season transfer window to go on shopping sprees forplayers. Such players nigeriasports.com learnt, must be in the brackets of those who can turn around their fortunes when the second stanza kicks-off.

One of the Transfer Window opportunists, are the League trophy defenders and continental honours campaigners, Enyimba FC of Aba, which have concluded arrangements to sign-on Dolphins’ goal minder, Austin Brown.

Austin, who has been exceptionally good in goal for the Port-Harcourt-based side, Dolphins, would be another safe hands for the Aba Elephants, if the deal goes through…and that would be another ‘Plus’ for Enyimba FC. Sources close to Enyimba told nigeriasports.com in Lagos that, the team’s soccer agent met with Austin Brown in Uyo, three days before their departure to South Africa to keep a  CAF Champions Cup League date against Ajax Cape Town.

He also revealed that, the idea of signing-on Austin Brown was to make sure that the team did not lack any thing in their preparation for their CAF Champions league title defence for the third time. “As I am talking with you now, Austin has agreed to play for Enyimba; otherwise, what is stopping him from travelling with the team to Lafia to play for his team, Dolphins in their FA Cup campaigns?  At least I was an eye witness when the Enyimba soccer Agent was discussing with him in

Uyo before the team travelled to South Africa,” our source recalled. He further revealed that chief coach of Enyimba, Okey Emordi may likely replace Sam Okoye or John Gadi with Brown if things go well with them.  I am sure that, Coach might drop either of his two goal tenders; Sam Okoye or John Gardi, if Brown’s team, Dolphins agreed to with their terms.

Meanwhile, nigeriasports.com authoratively gathered that Austin Brown remained unrepentant in his resolve not to be part of Dolphins’ FA Cup challenges in Lafia, Zamfara State; which is the Zone for the team’s FA Cup assignments.

I am a die hard fan of Enyimba,i care about the club.

Enyimba has about 4 good goal keepersgoing for Austin will mean sending the likes of Okoye & Gadi packing.

Okoye has proved to be a good keeper, him and Gadi should be given more opportunity to contribute to the succes story of Enyimba instead buying Austin Brown.

Plz i advice Enyi Africa not to bring in Brown cos we have good keepers now.Rather, they should buy a new superb striker who can score goals at will.I think its only a dependable striker that Enyimba needs now not a goal keeper.
Enyimba forever!!

HENRY UGOCHUKWU AND GAZZY listen 2 me.If a pregnant woman claims 2 have been bitten by the unborn baby in the stomach u don't have 2 argue with her because u have never been pregnant. He that wears the shoe knows where it pinches.
The gentlemen in the management of Enyimba should by now have won the confidence of all the club's supporters.I believe they know what they are doing. My only advice is that they should tread cautiously.

Ikwuchrist i understand your meaning, They should tell us the agent name! I knew Enyimba very well i`m an insider in Enyimba i don`t think we need Brown! Beside Ejiogu is better than Brown even if we are going 4 keeper it `ll not be Brown, We don`t need goal keeper now period. If u can remenber we sold our else goal tender to Sharks Abdul Isa early this year and his`s better than all orther keepers eccept Dele. Up Enyimba Up Nigeria Up Flaying Eagles. 28707307.

Dero ph, the perspective ikwuchrist is looking at it is totally different from the angle you understand it.The management of Enyimba know wjhat it takes. Why not give them room to do the job.Am not an advocate of Brown nether am i the advocate of Gaadi and Okoye.

ENYIMBA PROBLEM IS NOT IN THE AREA OF GOAL-KEEPING SO FOR NOW BROWN IS OUT OF THE QUESTION.
