Comets set to down Islanders

The encounter tomorrow between reigning Nigeria champion, Comets basketball club and arch rival and former one time Nigeria peat champion, Islanders basketball club in the ongoing Lagos city league will surely be a game to watch as both side have dominated the Nigeria scene for the last one decade.

While the odd favours the coach Ayo Bakare tutored comets owing to the array of basketball players on its roster at the moment Islanders will surely not be a push over as their age lone rivalry will once again be rekindled when both side take to the court at 1.30pm local time at the Rowe park sports centre, Yaba.

Sea Rovers set to compound Melphis woes

Sea Rovers basketball club who put a brilliant fight against Islanders at the NAF Base gymnasium last Sunday will want to use tomorrow’s pairing against the league’s whipping team, Melphis who are yet to record a win so far.

Both side who share the same training venue will be a delight to watch when they take to the court at the NAF Base gymnasium tomorrow.
