Sequel to this, an inspection team comprising, Sunday Bada who now is the head of the technical arm of the  federation and another Sunday Obot, an assistant Secretary of the federation have since left to inspect the venue.

According to Harrison Ocholor, Personal Assistant on Sports to Mrs Ibori, we want to ensure that we all set for this edition, which is the 6th in the series.  Besides, the Cross River State government had awarded the contract for the total refurbishing of the stadium where the event has been slated to hold.

Both the AFN technical inspection visit and that of the First Lady are meant to ensure that, the officials responsible for the accomplishment of the project, do so before the event takes off the bloc as scheduled.

We on our part, would ensure that we try to sustain pressure on the the appropriate departments so that we would not be made to bear the cost of doing what the government of the stated had directed earlier.
