We're winning the league------Musa Abdullahi

With just few weeks to the end of round one the Nigeria Premier League, Coach Musa Abdullahi is optimstic that Dolphin Football Club would win the league for a second conservative time.

Speaking with Nigeriasports.com on arrival at the International Airport from South Africa Monday, Coach Abdullahi said that the Dolphin is working hard to defend the league title which they won last year adding that it's just too early to under-rate them since the first round of the league has not ended.

" We still have some outstanding matces to play in this first round of the Nigerian League, l think it's not proper for any team to under-rate us at this stage of the league. Remember, we're gunning for two titles this season and l know with Allah on our side, we shall be victorious".

Meanwhile, Coach Musa Abdullahi has expressed optimisium that his team would qualify for the final of the CAF champion league after playing a 1-1 draw with Super Sport of  South Africa  in Johannesburg at the Weekend.

He said that it was not an easy game but what actually help the team's preparation towards this cruise encounter against Super Sport was our trainning under the flood light which actually assisted the players to adapt to the climatic condition in South Africa.

"We're very happy that the team won the game both home and away although it was not an easy match , l thank Allah for giving Dolphin the much needed victory at this stage of the championship. l know with Allah on our side we shall definitely get to the finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, it's not easy but we're prepared to make Nigerians proud since this is  the club's first international engagement on the Continent".

Said he," It was good that we got to South Africa on time, although, we started our preparation on time under the Flood light in Port Harcourt which helped the players to adapt with the climate in South Africa".

" South African climate cannot be compared with that of Nigeria, all we need to do now is concentrate on the league and work on some of the lapses experienced in South Africa".

Coach Abdullahi expressed displeasure over the ouster of Rangers by at the weekend during the second CAF Confederation Cup  played in Enugu.

"It's very sad that Rangers lost out at this point in time. I thought that with Rangers and Dolphin in the same Cup would have help stabilize our hope of winning the trophy but then we're going to carry on with the fight. It's really sad l must confess,  he said".
