Home Again's is Gabros' new song tune

Gabros against NPA in Lagos
Dog-tired of being beaten, bruised and battered week-in and out, in Aba, a strange land Gabros FC thought could be a home, but later found the foolery in that decision, the Nnewi team has now decided to go back home...so, the new tune in their camp now, is: "Home again, sweet home again."

Godfrey Esu, the new chief shot caller of the Oba, Nnewi, Anambra State team, confirmed to us the final movement back home to roost after
weeks of ceaseless battery in Aba, the homeland of all-conquering Enyimba FC, has come to an end.

Explaining the team management's decision  to go back home to their motherland, Coach Esu, who was contracted by the side, just a few weeks back, said that he had to advise the management against a further stay on in Aba, in the interest of the club.

"I warned them against the consequencies of remaining in Aba and playing their home matches at the Enyimba Stadium.  I buttressed my arguement and preference of Rojeny to Aba, which is the original home of Gabros FC, with the outcome of our match against Shooting Stars in Aba.

"We were playing at home yet, very far away from home, because, we were booed by our supposed home fans in Aba, who were actually Enyimba fans, who saw and took us as rivals.  The behaviour of the fans, gave the match officials the impetus to officiate that encounter against the rules of the game...and ofcourse, they went away with it.

"You saw what happened at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos in our match against NPA Seasiders.  Besides the unholy rejection of our equalizer against the side, the officials extended the match twelve minutes beyond regulation time.  It was unfair.  The game cannot grow with these kinds of ignoble officiating.

"What to do? We have to go back home to see what we can do. Home, we have to return, since the name of the game in Nigeria is 'Home Advantage'.  Let's see how well we can fare too," Esu lamented.

So, home, sweet home, here comes Gabros Internationl FC back to Rojeny Stadium, Oba, Nnewi, like the Biblical 'prodigal son'.  nigeriasports.com is watchig to see and report the unfolding developments.  Common, dear browsers, keepon logging on to us for all the deatils in Nigerian sports.

"Home again, yes, home again, we must return if, we want to rank among the teams that would stay afloat in the premiership boat next season," the greyt-haired coach Esu affirmed.

I want to tell Gabros new coach that Aba fans do not and did not see Gabros as rivals. He is new to the team and should ask questions b4 making comments which I think is uncharitable on Aba fans. The first week they played at the Enyinba stadium, the place was so full that people wondered if it was Enyimba that was playing.I was at the stadium. The match was against Rangers. The support they got was more than could be given to any team anywhere in this country,to the exrent that Aba fans were ready to fight when the referee took a decision we considered to be in bad taste. An Aba fan was banned from the stadium by NFA as a result of that insident. It is amazing that a jonny-just-come of a coach opened his mouth to make such uncomplimentary remark about Aba fans.
The truth of the matter is that the performance of Gabros was unbecoming of a premiership side. After a cupple of matches fans decided to stay away from the stadium each time they played. Those that ventured to attend their matches(I am one of them anyway) remonstrated the teams bad play by booing them.
LET ME ASK GODFREY ESU,WHEN NIGERIANS BOO THE SUPER EAGLES IS IT BECAUSE THEY CONSIDER THEM AS RIVALS?
I think u owe apology to Aba fans.
