Kwara United finally United

Better times are here once again for Kwara United, as the state Governor Dr Bukola Saraki has given the club a huge financial and moral boost ahead of next season.

Recently, the Governor who confessed his undying love and affection towards the team willingly released funds for the purchase of new players, settlements of accumulated match bonuses and new kits.
The cash strapped state owned team, has been under serious hammer before the lifeline courtesy the sports loving governor.

Kwara United was highly tipped by cynics to apply for backrupcy due to their inability to foot travelling bills and poor player's welfare. The club finished 13th on the 18 team league table to remain in the top flight and such a feat is expected to be surpassed according to the club's chairman, Joeseph Fakorede.

" This gesture will help us in improving upon last season and the governor was not mixing words when he explained that to me" he said.

"We won't let him down, we will make the state proud and do our best to restore the team's pride" he assures
