Dolphins Coaches get confidence vote

Dolphins Ochuko Ojobo
Despite last Sunday’s penalty shootout loss to ASEC Mimosas of Cote D’Ivoire in the CAF Champions League third round, Technical Adviser of the Nigerian Side, Musa Abdulahi has been given a vote of confidence by the management of the side, nigeriasports.com can report.

Club Secretary, Fatai Olayinka told nigeriasports.com that Dolphins did not lose out because of any coaching deficiency but due to inexperience on the continent and hard luck.

“We are a young side and I think Nigerians expected too much from us, especially after we won the league, beating Enyimba in Aba in the process.” Fatai Olayinka told nigeriasports.com.

“We will not blame the coaches, we will not blame the players, but we will just take solace in the fact that we have another chance to redeem ourselves in the confederations cup and see if we can go all the way in that competition.”

Dolphin should wait for Enyimba this season! you people should have this in mind. You boasted that u defeated Enyimba at Aba last year but u have 4goten that Enyimba have been beating Dolphin in their own turf that keeps their fans frouwning their faces like somebody who swallowed bitter pills. And also know that Enyimba beat ASEC in Abdjan last year Champions league..

When will Nigerian sports officials learn to rue their losses quietly without making unnecessary noise? What has beating Enyiafrica got to do with the CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE? This is what I talked about in another contribution I made elsewhere that Dolphine thinks beating Enyinigeria qualifies them to rule Africa. Come to think of it Enyinba has always beaten Dolphine home and away over the years.Dolphine club secretary has brought to the fore a silent issue I did not want to bring out earlier for fear of being branded uncharitable.Fatai Olayinka has said it all...THAT NIGERIAN CLUBS-ESPECIALLY DOLPHINE- MEASURE THEIR SUCCESS OR OTHERWISE BY WHATEVER SUCCESSES THEY CAN ACHIEVE AGAINST ENYIMBA, NAY ENYIAFRICA. They should first of all purge themselves of mediocrity to become achievers. Good luck.
