Dolphins, Insurance crash out![]() Former Africa champions ASEC of Ivory Coast defeated Nigerian side Dolphins 2-0 in Abidjan on Sunday to qualify for the group stages of Champions League. The victory left the aggregate scores level at 2-2 but the home side went ahead to win 5-3 on penalties. The Ivorians opened the scoring in the 8th minute thanks to a strike by Vincent de Paul Die-Foney. They doubled their lead through Alhassane Koivogui in the 66th minute. Dolphins will now have to go into a playoff for the group stages of the Confederations Cup. Insurance out, Rangers in The home side got the goal in the 44th minute through Kwabena Poku to win the tie 1-0 on aggregate, after drawing 0-0 in the first leg tie. In Doula, Enugu Rangers reached the fourth round despite losing 1-0 away to Cameroon's Union Douala. Emmanuel Nouazi's strike in the 80th minute was not enough as the visitors won 3-2 on aggregate.
