Red Arrows 1-6 Enyimba![]() The result is a record in the Caf champions league, being the highest away victory ever in the history of the million dollars championship. The home side got off to a brilliant start as early as the four minutes when Abraham Mwamba headed in a Danny Hanguyu cross from the right to beat Enyimba goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba. But the African champions got their deserved equaliser through free-scoring Ghanaian international Joetex Frimpong in the 18th minute. Frimpong who got a brace in the first leg was quick to captalise on a blunder by Arrows captain Patrick Kaoma, exchanging passes with David Solomon before slotting the ball past the advancing Mankomba. The goal unsettled the home side, forcing them to make endless errors and they got punished for it in the 30th minute. As Prince Olomu capitalised on another poor communication between Kaoma, Frank Lopi and goalkeeper Mankomba before tapping into an empty net, to make the score 2-1. Arrows troubles were compounded in the 58th minute as Frimpong lobbed the ball over the advancing Mankomba. A brace from David Solomon in the 63 and 66th minute took the game beyond the host and their dejected fans. Substitute Ifeanyi Obediah added the sixth in the 80th minute to send the handful of Nigerian fans into wild celebration. The result means that Enyimba are through to the group stages of the MTN/Caf Champions league via a 9-1 goal aggregate after beating Arrows 3-0 in the first leg played in Nigeria a fortnight ago. Arrows will seek for better continental fortunes as they go into a playoff to qualify for the group stages of the Caf Confederations Cup.
