Union Douala also finished the game with 10 men as Captain Iyende Francis was sent off with two minutes left in the game. After the game union Duoula officials blamed the referee for their loss. Leader of delegation Ndoki Mukete said the referee was the worst in the continent. “The referee spoilt our game; I think he is the worst referee in the continent” He could not however floor any of Rangers goals, “Rangers goals were perfect goals especially the last two goals, they were perfect goals” he said. While fans were celebrating in Enugu, fans in Benin City went to bed early as their darling team Insurance failed them greatly.
