“I was confident that we will get a good presentation and with what I have seen here, I can say Port Harcourt had always been ready to host this and other engagements.”

“We at the NFA are now vindicated by our decision to take the match to Port Harcourt and we must commend the Rivers State Governor for his personal commitment to the development of facilities in the state.”

Galadima charged the stadium management to continue the watering of the grass and also endeavour to cut it before the big match.

He also charged the Rivers State Sports Ministry to start a campaign early to enable fans come in their numbers to watch the match and also be of good behavior so there wont be any unsavory incidents.

“This is not Sharks or Dolphins playing but Nigeria so we have to project a good image of ourselves so we expect that the Rivers State fans are well educated before the match.”
“We also want to shame people that chastised us for choosing the Liberation stadium for this match. I am confident that we are set for this match on the 26th and I believe the boys will also be playing on a very familiar ground and the credit for going to the World Cup will once again come to Rivers State before any other.”

Galadima promised to return to Port Harcourt three days to the match for a final inspection.
