Edward Iyowuna and Bina Ajuwa in Malaysia

Bina Ajuwa
It is funny and rather sad story that a player registered with a team in Nigeria will just wake up one morning, pack his bags and baggages and head elsewhere without even notifying the club. nigeriasports.com can report of an Enugu Rangers player.

Former Enugu Rangers forward Edward Iyowuna who returned to the club this season from Qatar has once again disappeared from camp of the Flying Antelopes.

Edward Iyowuna is now in Malaysia and plays for Pahang FA.

Wednesday, Iyowuna played all 90 minutes for the team in their 2005 AFC Cup Group Stage match away to Home United FC of Singapore.

Iyowuna was just ordinary in the game they went ahead to lose 1-2.

When nigeriasports.com called Enugu Rangers coach to ask after Iyowuna, Coach Akpokona told us that the player disappeared after playing one league game this season and his where about is unknown.
Well they now know where he is.

Another Nigeria player who played that game for same Pahang FC is National team invitee Bina Ajuwa who signed for the team this season.

Bina was a 65th minute substitute and was largely anonymous.

The two young men should not be crucified for ignoring their country for foreign assignment because Nigeria does not worth dying for.
