Globacom on Dolphin CAF Campaign

One of Nigeria richest Communication outfits, Globacom are keen on extend their sports sponsorship drive to yet another football club, the Dolphin Football Club of Port Harcourt,the 2004 season double winners towards their CAF champions league campaign .

A Member of Globacom marketing department told nigeriasports in Aba on Sunday that they were looking at giving support to Dolphin FC towards their CAF Champions League Campaign as they have been doing with Enyimba FC in the past two years.“We are happy to have two strong Nigeria clubsides representing Nigeria in the CAF Competition, Dolphin FC and Enyimba FC as well.

“we have strongly supported Eniymba FC since 2003 till date, now what we intend doing is to extend that support to Dolphin as well so that they will also do well in the championship,” He further confirmed that they are not going to unveil their package now rather waiting for Dolphin FC to win their next match against Heart of Oak and move to the round of 16 before they would be able to approach the
club’s management with there offer. “It’s not early or late to approach Dolphin now all we are waiting on is for them to cross to next stage that is round of 16 then we can now throw our support at large,’ he assured.

Meanwhile Globacom, the second National Telecommunication Operation remains the biggest corporate supporter of football in the country with over N450m committed in sponsorship to the game in the
last one year alone.
