Gabros want league title

Gabriel Chukwuma of Gabros
President of Gabros Football Club of Onitsha, Gabriel Cukwuma has told nigeriasports.com that his dream is the same as that over the other nineteen club owners, which is to win the 2005 football league, nigeriasports.com can report.

“It is one trophy, but you have over 20 people fighting to win it, and we are quite optimistic that we can go all the way.”

“The Technical Crew is also another area I am very convincing about as Kafaru ALabi and Fred Okpalla are tested hands in the business.”

“I have been in this business for seven years, so at least I should know the kind of Technical Crew I want.”

“By now every body knows that Gabros do not go for big name players, but we are like a factory that discovers these boys. So don’t expect to see Super Stars yet until the end of the season, and then once again we would turn to the beautiful bride of Nigerian Football as all clubs would want to get our players.”

He said Gabros moved their matches from the Rojenny Tourist Center in Onitsha to Aba because they wanted to make money from the gates, some thing that was difficult in previous seasons.

This is the kind of sweet talk we get to hear from our clubs early in the league but in the middle of the league, the will surelly find another thing to say to suit themselves.
Petty talk will not grant any club the league cup but good preparation and players warefare.
