A proven goal scorer in the local scene [seven goals in 16-games], Joseph Afusi now has got the chance to finally shake off his disappointing past and put his career back on track at AEL. The skillful player impressed officials of the club including former Soviet-Union star Oleh Protasov in training and will be hoping to repeat his vein of form in front of goal, when he finally makes his debut this weekend. AEL Limassol FC are currently joint-fifth in the Cypriot table has an option of extending the contract of the player by a year, depending on how much impact he has at the club.
