Enyimba ready for 2005

Technical Adviser of Enyimba FC of Aba, Okey Emordi has confirmed that the players are in shape to battle Accra Heart of Oak in the CAF Super Cup next month in Aba.

Emordi told nigeriasports.com that Enyimba has not experienced injuries to players since they went to Bauchi for closed camping.

“Since we arrived Bauchi for our closed camping we have not recorded any injury both in old and new players,” he said.

He maintained that they are not going to underrate Heart of Oak, as they are also the champions in the
Confederation Cup.

“We are not going rest or take it easy with Heart of Oak, for them to be the champion in the Confederation Cup means that they are equally a good side and we will want to crown it all so we will play it like our normal games,” he said.

Apart from the February tie, Emeordi stated that the club is intact to battle this years Globacom Premier
League kicking off on the 12th of February.

“We are not preparing for the Champions league but also for the Premier league as well, this time there
will be 20 clubs in contest so it may not be as easy before so we are preparing for it as well,” he added.
