Eguma leaves Enyimba for bigger Challenge![]() Eguma told nigeriasports.com that against what people think he was not sacked by the Caf Champions league title holders. “I joined Enyimba from Gabros in the middle of last year and it was just for six months with the option of a renewal, but I thought better at the end of it all,” Eguma said. According to him, Enyimba did well since he joined that club as they rose from a precarious position in the league and ended at second position while they went on the win the Champions league. “At the end of the season I thought I could move to something bigger, since I was just an assistant coach with the club and I hope I will get something by the time the new season starts.” Sharks, Dolphin not options Eguma however, ruled out a return to Port Harcourt with either Sharks or dolphin. “I have not made contact with either Sharks or Dolphin so nobody should even spread that rumour I will be returning to Port Harcourt.” “The Lobi deal also did not go through because at the time they came to me, I was still under contract with Enyimba, besides we could not arrive at any terms so they went for Tunde Disu.” Stanley Eguma however reiterated that he had no problems with Enyimba but merely did not renew his contract after it expired.
