DHL Sponsors French Gold Cup 2004 The French Golf Cup is part of the activities lined up to celebrate the French Day, packaged by the Franco Nigerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The 18-hole tournament will attract trophies in different categories which includes men, ladies, and other invited golfers. The Managing Director of DHL Mr. Richard Seaver and some invited golfers are expected to compete for different trophies in the tournament. According to Mrs. Adaora Dozie-Chukwuma, Executive Assistant to the Managing Director in charge of Corporate Sponsorships, DHL will continue to support sports development in Nigeria as part of its social responsibility commitments. She emphasized that, “this is not the first time we are participating in this event. Our support of this tournament is our own contribution to sports development in the country.” DHL started its sponsorship of the French Golf championship in 2002 and this will be the third straight year the courier giants will be bankrolling the sporting event. 0
