Berger deny financial crises

Berger's Chief Coach, Fatai Amao
The management of Julius Berger Football Club has reacted to reports in sections of the media that they are in financial crises, nigeriasports.com can report.

Speaking with nigeriasports in Lagos the Chairman of the Club, Adewale Kuti said that the resolve of the management to cut down on certain areas for various reason.

According to him,  preparations for continental games differ from what domestic competition.

“I wish to state here that no player or official of our club is being owned of salaries, bonus or contractual sign-on fees,”

He further stated that the technical head, coach Fatai Amao is retained while they have improved on player’s sign-on fees and other welfare packages to enhance performance in the forth coming Premier League season.

“The issue of financial crisis in unfounded, rather we pruned down the size of the team from the just concluded League season as there is no continental assignment at hand. We did not go for big names in the local league for the same reason," He stated.
