Onyesoh advises Enyimba on Esperance

In order to achieve good result in their return leg match against Esperance FC of Tunisia in the on going CAF Continental Championship billed for Tunis, the Commissioner of Sports River State, Allwell Onyesoh has advised the management of the Nigeria flag bearer, Enyimba International Football club of Aba to camp their players in any country that has same weather as Tunisia.

In an interview with Nigeriasports.com in Port Harcourt on Monday, Onyesoh advised that Enyimba should camp in either Algeria or in any northern Africa country to enable the team acclimatise with the weather.

“Now it is very cold in Tunisia and what Enyimba should do is move closer to any country that has the same weather with Tunisia so that the players can get use to the cold environment,” he said.

He noted that the team should go all out for a victory in Tunisia if they harbour the ambition of booking a final place.

“It’s better to play an all attacking game, so that the Esperance will defend and if they do that there is no way Enyimba will not score because right now they are happy with the draw here. All Enyimba need to do is attack them play with brave hearts and this will lead them to the finals,” he confirmed.

He stressed that camping the players in Otta farm would do little to help the team.

“I don’t see the reason why they should camp in Otta, if they want to camp in Nigeria Otta is not the best place for them because it is hot there, they should look for better places in the north or mid-west.

“What these boys need is weather change, look at Esperance they camped at Togo for days before the game and it helped them, so I think Enyimba should do the same for their own good,” he added.

With the massive yellow cards received by Esperance players, Enyimba's team officials should critically scrutinize the eligibility of players lined up in the return leg and register their complaint before the match (where necessary) and follow up later (even if Enyimba wins). I believe some of their keys players may be ineligible for the return leg due to card offences. I think Enyima stands a better chance than Esperance. I wish them well.

This is the best advice for Enyimba; if they want to do better in their return leg in Tunisia, they should camp in country with same climatic condition with that of Tunisia. The reason cold weather condition over there. camping in Otta will not do us any good. This is excatly what Esperance FC did by camping their player in a country that has the same climatic condition with Aba. PLEASE, Enyimba FC adminstrators should do something about that and make their fans proud. I wish them success.

Enyimba should go all out as if they are at home .Also, they remember that their striker Emeka nwanna is not okey for the return leg.
