About ten minutes later, Martha Njoku beat the offside trap but blasted wide with just goalkeeper Lucky Atu to beat in the Rivers Angel goal.

But the Angels would not survive it for too long as substitute Kafaya Agani got the better of Maureen Ogu, sprinting all of forty yards to tuck behind a hapless Lucky Atu in goal for Rivers Angels to make way for a replay of the match on Saturday.

The winner of this tie will play the winner of the match between Bayelsa Queens and Remi Queens that will be decided on Saturday in Ibadan.
