Obasanjo receives Super Falcons “We were asked to come for Presidential welcome, and no one knows what is in stock for us”, some of the players said while on a visit to the Nigeria Football Association, Abuja. It is however being floated that President Obasanjo would tongue lash the players for their refusal to join the plane back home after they have won for the fourth consecutive times, the African Women Soccer Championship. The Falcons had stayed back in Johannesgurg demanding for their allowances and bonuses to be paid. Remarkably, the Sports Ministry, and not the NFA is handling the reception for the Falcons at the Aso Villa. It was learnt that apart from the NFA Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima and Secretary General, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, no other member of the football association is accredited to accompany the players to the reception at the Aso Villa. The reception is however scheduled for 9am Fidelis Ebu in Abuja 1
