Onyenso unfolds road-map for Dolphin

RIVERS State Commissioner of Sports Awell Onyenso has unfolded what he terms a “success Road-map” plan for the 2004Nigeria Premier League champions, Dolphin FC of Port Harcourt towards a memorable campaign in the 2005 CAF Champions League which was first won by a Nigerian club, Enyimba of Aba in the 2003 edition.

Onyenso told nigeriasports.com in Port Harcourt at the weekend that series of international friendly games have been lined up with top African clubs as necessary build up for Dolphin to enable them have grips of what to expect during the Champions League.

The commissioner notes that he drew a lot of inspiration from the CAF champions Enyimba of Aba and also congratulates them for “getting to semi finals stage again.”

“I must tell you that Enyimba’s unprecedented achievement at winning the Champions League has inspired me enough to follow the footsteps of the Chief Felix Anyansi (Enyimba boss). In football you don’t know everything; you need people around you to achieve what you want in life. I think I must apply caution and also carry people along for the interest of the club,” Onyenso told nigeriasports.com
