Enyimba gear up for Bakili challenge

Stanley Eguma of Enyimba
Following their disappointing 0-1 loss to Africa Sports at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on Sunday, players and officials of Enyimba have resolved to put the loss behind them and look ahead to their final group match against Bakili Bullets in Malawi.

The Aba side will need at least a draw in Blantyre to go through to the semi final stage of the competition.

“It was a very bad day for us and the fans expressed their displeasure after the match but all that is past now,” Assistant Coach, Stanley Eguma told nigeriasports.com.

“We had to meet with the players to psyche them up because morale in the team was really low after the loss, but the boys have resolved to do well and play hard in Malawi like they did against Petro Athletico before we qualified for the Champions League.”

Eguma told nigeriasports.com that the match in Malawi has been tagged, “players match” because of the resolve of the boys to win at all costs.

“Yes it is possible we will win. After all Bakili drew in Tunisia so why can’t we go their and win.”

He disagreed with reports that Enyimba may have underrated the Ivorian side after winning 3-0 away.

“Really I can’t say what went wrong. We prepared well, played well and were optimistic before the game but sometimes it happens like that. It was unfortunate.  So I do not agree with any one who says we underrated our opponents on the night.”

May GOD be on the side of the POEPLES ELEPHANT coz they need this match in Malawi to scale tru to Semi final. I believe strongly that GOD will see them tru. They can't afford to lose this match. They should forget about the home loss last sunday and forge ahead so as to secure a semi final ticket.
Best of Luck to ENYI NIGERIA!!

LISTEN NGERIANS THE TRUTH REMAINS THE TRUTH.ANYONE WHO FAIL TO PREPARE IS EQUALLY PREPARING TO FAIL.SO WE SHOULD NOT DECEIVE OURSELF WITH THIS CHAMPION OF A THING THAT WE ARE ALREADY THE CHAMPION AND BECAUSE OF THAT WE CAN DO AND UNDO.IF WE SAY THAT THEN,WE ARE PUTING OURSELVES INTO MORE BIG TROUBLE.BECAUSE WHAT I AM SEENG NOW SHOWS THAT NOTHING FOR EMYIMBA IN BLANTYRE NO MATTER THE PEOPLE'S PRAYERS BECAUSE GOD HIMSELF DO ANSWER PRAYERS BUT NOT ALL PRAYERS LIKE THE ONE ENYIMBA ARE PRAYING NOW.

BECAUSE THEY HAVE MISS YOUR OPPORTURNITY ALREADY WHICH ONLY COMES BUT ONCE. SINCE NOW EVERYBODY IS PRAYING FOR ENYINMA LIKEWISE BAKILI TOO.SO IS GOD A BALLER?THAT SHOULD BE THE QUESTION HENCE GOD IS NOT THEN HIM WILL LIVE BOTH TEAM TO THEIR OWN EXPERINCE BECAUSE GOD IS NOT A PARTIAL GOD.

SO WHAT ARE WE SAYING?I CAN ONLY WISH ENYIMBA THE BEST OF LUCK AND LIVE THE REST.THANKS GOD BLESS WE ALL.

I REMAIN LORDSON FROM WEST SIDE.

SIR MELODY C. IHEKAIRE (DOWN SOUTH)
I am quite confident that Enyimba will win this match nomatter what these GREEN-EYE-MONSTERS are saying especially my good friend Emeka Egbonu who has already blown the final wistle of the tournerment. This demonstrates how unpetrotic most of us are to the success of our Local Teams.
Don't worry the Peoples Team, forget about the lose, it do happens in football but i am very hopeful you will do it again - GOOD LUCK BOYS !!!

SIR MELODY CHIGOZIE IHEKAIRE
