Enyimba gear up for Bakili challenge![]() The Aba side will need at least a draw in Blantyre to go through to the semi final stage of the competition. “It was a very bad day for us and the fans expressed their displeasure after the match but all that is past now,” Assistant Coach, Stanley Eguma told nigeriasports.com. “We had to meet with the players to psyche them up because morale in the team was really low after the loss, but the boys have resolved to do well and play hard in Malawi like they did against Petro Athletico before we qualified for the Champions League.” Eguma told nigeriasports.com that the match in Malawi has been tagged, “players match” because of the resolve of the boys to win at all costs. “Yes it is possible we will win. After all Bakili drew in Tunisia so why can’t we go their and win.” He disagreed with reports that Enyimba may have underrated the Ivorian side after winning 3-0 away. “Really I can’t say what went wrong. We prepared well, played well and were optimistic before the game but sometimes it happens like that. It was unfortunate. So I do not agree with any one who says we underrated our opponents on the night.”
