Falcons ambush Ethiopia
The Nigerian female football team will go all out for the Ethiopians when both teams clash at the Jo'burg stadium today in the semi-finals of the ongoing African women championship, South Africa 2004, reports nigeriasports.com.
The Falcons who have promised to score as many goals as possible to send out warning signals to their would-be opponents in the final, will turn out in all green attire today against the giant killing Ethiopians at 3.00pm Nigerian time. Chief coach of the team, Godwin Izilein has according to him, the winning strategy. "The Ethiopians although short, are very skillful in mid-field but they have met their match in us. We will neutralize the middle while we do the damage upfront", he boasted to nigeriasports.com. The first semi-final will take place at the same stadium by 1.00pm Nigerian time between Ghana and Cameroon in what promises to be the mother of all battle.
