Rivers Angels win FA Cup The match, which had the trappings of a grudge affair was always going to be a difficult one for both sides after a series of off the pitch battles in recent times. Last year at this level, Rivers Angels beat Bonny Island Queens 5-0 but it was different this time around as the game dragged on to a goaless full and extra time. In the ensuing penalty shoot-outs, Rivers Angels out scored their rivals from Bonny 4-3. Rivers Angels will now represent Rivers State in the National FA preliminaries in the Bayelsa zone against the representatives from Cross Rivers State, Akwa Ibom State, Ebonyi State, Imo State and Abia State.
