Idah, Etafia charges Falcons

Two Nigerian goalkeepers, one an ex-international and the other still active in the trade yesterday visited the camp of the Nigerian ladies urging them to go all out for victory in their remaining matches.

Peterside Idah, a former international now retired but based in South Africa alongside Greg Etafia who plays for Morroka Swallows, told the Falcons that they have themselves to beat.

"Everybody wants to bring you down because you are up there but they can only succeed if you allow them.We are behind you and we are praying for you", Peterside Idah told the ladies.

On his part, Greg Etafia, a Tunisia 2004 bronze medalist, encouraged the girls to work as a team and march on to win the championship. "Nigerians are behind you and you must always give your best. Do not be discouraged by anything that happens today rather you look forward to another day because the next match is always important. Go get your three points today and move on", he adviced.

Greg Etafia is one of the invited players for the Gabon Vs Nigeria World and Nations cup qualifier coming up in Libraville in a forthnight.
