NFA condemned over Board room Points

Allwell Onyesoh
The former Commissioner of Sports River State, Allwell Onyesoh has condemned the idea of Nigeria Football Association awarding boardroom points to clubs.

In a chat with nigeriasports, Onyesoh stressed that Nigeria Football Association (NFA) is not helping
developing soccer in the country by awarding boardroom points to teams that supposed to be penalized, saying that they are killing the game with their own selfishness.

“I don’t see the reason why NFA should be awarding points to those teams that always cause problem. How can a team that walked out of a match later win three points, I mean its not fair because what they are doing is killing the game”

“A team was also awarded 16 points in four matches and I want to ask if that is fair?” he asked.

He stated that situations where clubs that supposed to be penalized would be awarded points within the
boardroom shows that NFA don’t have love for the game but money, saying that such act need to stop before it gets out of hand.

He however warned NFA to learn how to play justice for the betterment and development of league in Nigeria.

Shame unto NFA for bringing our cherished League to its lower height this year through their arrogant boardroom points.
