Pam’s pedals to victory in Maltina Cycling Tour
Plateau State’s Choji Pam has won the first lap of this year’s Maltina Cycling Tour of Nigeria when he topped the over 64 cyclists in the first leg of the competition from Kaduna to Abuja. Ogoh Sunday of the Federal Capital territory and Danjuma Dennis of Borno State finished in the second and third positions respectively.
Pam clocked 3hrs 00.54.68 secs; Sunday posted 3hrs 00.55.11 secs while Dennis returned in 3hrs 00.55.54 secs. The 64 cyclists were from 16 States of the Federation. Among the States being represented in the Tour of Nigeria that would be concluded on October 3 in Lagos are Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, FCT, Edo and Delta. Other States include Yobe, Nasarawa, Plateau, Borno, Rivers, Bayelsa, Katsina, Imo, Kaduna and Kwara. The cyclists would start their riding to Keffi, Nasarawa State tomorrow. 0
