Following the protest begin filed to NFA by the Imo state club side Iwuanyanwu FC of Owerri to make sure they have protection in their last league match against Dolphin FC of Port Harcourt, the Nigeria Football Association has tasked the Port Harcourt Club side to provide a enough security for the encounter.

A member of NFA Emmanuel Adesoya told nigeriasports.com  that a letter has been sent to Port Harcourt Club side asking them to provide a maximum security as there would be important personalities gracing the match.

He also confirmed that since the River State Governor Odili and his friends would part of the finals that
there is no way the match would be moved to another venue.

“you know this is the last game of the league and the River State Governor Odili will be there with his
friends  so we will not move the finals to another venue unless we really have to."

Chairman of Iwuanyanwu Nationale, Alphosus Okeaghialam told nigeriasports.com  on Monday in Owerri, that they want to make sure that everything is in order and also there is enough security before they would enter PH to battle Dolphin on Sunday.

According to him, “Port Harcourt Fans may likely not take things  easy with us on that day so what we asked from NFA is just to make sure that we are been protected and now they have assured, so we are prepared for the game.
